BREWSTER'S MILLIONS (1985)
Minor-league pitcher Montgomery Brewster (Richard Pryor) has to waste $30 million in order to win a bet, so he hires the imperial Yankees to play against his rag-tag Hackensack Bulls. While the script lacked any logic whatsoever, profligate Yankee owner George Steinbrenner perfected a similar strategy in the years that followed.
