Becki Newton, Vanessa L. Williams, and Michael Urie, for Ugly Betty

Dozens of you wrote in to declare your love for Ugly Betty's terrific ensemble cast, but three supporting players in particular inspired the most passionate comments. Laura wondered if EW.com could start a petition on behalf of Vanessa L. Williams, while Seon declared (rather alarmingly) that he might ''stab something'' if the woman who plays the fearsome Wilhelmina Slater gets snubbed. Louise, meanwhile, lobbied on behalf of ''Becki Newton, Becki Newton, and have I mentioned the best actor on Ugly Betty or any other show this season...Becki Newton?'' Finally, while acknowledging it's a longshot, Janice said she's rooting for Michael Urie to get his name called on July 19, too.
