We don't need a cinematic musical to tell us that good girls love bad boys, but let's face it: This melodic pair did coin the term ''summer lovin','' and made poodle skirts and leather pants a (somewhat) acceptable match. They had a somewhat different take on their ''summer nights'' (Sandy [Olivia Newton-John]: ''It was really romantic.'' Danny [John Travolta]: ''You don't want to hear all the horny details''). Luckily, their romance — and story — ended on a (shared) high note.
