ONCE (2007)
This sweet little movie reportedly cost just $150,000 to produce, and much of the budget must have gone into crane rental for the film's gorgeous final shot: The Girl (Marketa Irglova) sits at the piano, a surprise gift from The Guy (Glen Hansard), as her husband and daughter play in the tiny apartment. The camera pulls back, soaring out the window, scored by music that the two friends — the Girl and the Guy — created together. —Jay Woodruff
