Carell never misses a chance to ham it up, as Minton quickly discovered. ''He would literally start at the front door and say, 'Hey, how are you doing?' and actually act it out out loud,'' says the photographer of Carell's pants-free brick-path jaunt for this shot. ''I can see why every director would want to work with him, because he's so open-minded and he has no attitude. He was up for everything.'' Well, almost everything: ''I wanted him to put briefs on — like, tighty-whities — but he was like, 'No, no. I'll wear the boxers.''' Good call, Steve.
