''He's the new, cool, nasty Bond,'' says Dimmock, who shot Craig near the end of the actor's whirlwind publicity tour for Casino Royale. ''You don't have the Roger Moore cheesy eyebrow going on.'' The photographer was happy to steer clear of hoary 007 clichés like cars and martinis, but his original concept was scrapped when the star arrived wearing a classically Bondian three-piece suit from his own closet. ''We had a 20-square-foot rain machine set to pour water down and loads of film light to shoot through the water,'' says the photographer. ''And he was like, 'I'm not getting this suit wet.''' It seems that Bond, like a well-shaken martini, is happiest dry.
