Running late after an earlier photo session, Hathaway arrived at an outdoor location in the Hollywood Hills when the sun was already setting. ''We wanted to shoot outside with daylight, but by the time she got there, it was gone,'' says Flood, who quickly adapted to the situation. ''We ended up in a corner of a patio against a brightly colored wall.'' But even a hectic schedule couldn't dampen the Becoming Jane star's natural geniality. ''She had been shooting all day and was obviously a little bit tired,'' says Flood. ''I remember I said something, and she just started laughing. And this was the last frame. It actually was my favorite of the whole day.''
