That's not a real angel guarding the new Emmy winners: It's actually Maxwell's 8-year-old daughter, Greybeckett. ''Kids like to dress up, so she had all those kind of things, like wings,'' says Maxwell, who had the Angels in America stars sit perfectly still in order to blur Greybeckett's heavenly presence by using slow shutter speeds -- a technique that came back to haunt him. ''I'd be shooting and [the actors] would be whispering jokes into each other's ears and moving,'' he says. ''The chemistry that they had was charming.''
