C'mon, it was the '80s. Everybody was making wacky movies. (There was even a Howard the Duck film.) Don't hold this Ridley Scott D&D-esque fantasia against poor Tom. He did his best as a elven hero trying to stop the Lord of Darkness from macking on his princess.
