Even if you don't worship in the ''church of baseball,'' you're bound to be won over by Bull Durham's off-the-field action: the candle-lit bath, the post-coital cereal scene, the clumsy front-porch confessional, Kevin Costner's knee-weakening seduction speech (the one that begins with ''I believe in the soul'' and ends with ''long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days'').
