She's certainly got the looks (a killer smile with eyes to match) and the talent (successful turns in comedy, romance, and horror films); in fact, it seems the only thing keeping Rachel McAdams from joining the likes of Reese Witherspoon at the top of the A list is...Rachel McAdams. After showing off her impressive range in hits like Mean Girls, Wedding Crashers, and Red Eye, the 28-year-old seemed to have left the limelight nearly two years ago. Fans wondered if she had turned her back on movies for good, but, thankfully, it looks like she was just taking a breather. With roles lined up in four 2008 releases — including Married Life, opposite Pierce Brosnan; the Brad Pitt-Edward Norton crime drama State of Play; and a highly anticipated adaptation of The Time Traveler's Wife — McAdams should have no problem claiming a spot in the Hollywood pantheon...if she wants it. —Adam Markovitz
