BEST
10. ANDY BARKER, P.I. (NBC)
This incredibly likable Andy Richter series was canceled after a mere six episodes, landing it a spot alongside Police Squad in superb satires that deserved better. As a tidy accountant who accidentally inherits a detective business, Richter aided by a rabbity video buff (Arrested Development's Tony Hale) and an ass-kicking septuagenarian (Harve Presnell) with a phobia of chickens zipped through mysteries that both parodied and revered the detective genre. Co-created by Conan O'Brien, it was strange, smart and sadly brief.
