issues (call it Ass-perger's
syndrome), takes
a plastic sex doll for
a girlfriend. That's a fake-kinky
premise, but the real
fake is the town of
insufferable faux-Capra
idiots who play along with
his delusion out of ''love.''
Anyone who thinks that
a critics' darling like
Gosling can't give a bad
performance should study
his mugging here.
