Mer-Der's hilltop reunion in the Grey's Anatomy finale didn't hold a candle to the hopelessly romantic wrap-up of Brothers & Sisters' second season, in which the previously commitment-phobic Kevin (Matthew Rhys) wed his partner, Scotty (Luke Macfarlane). Six months later, however, the passing of California's anti-gay-marriage Prop. 8 made the much-anticipated ceremony seem retroactively bittersweet. —Lynette Rice
