The mother of all revenge movies, this one stars Charles Bronson as an architect who's transformed into the ultimate vigilante when street thugs (including a then-unknown Jeff Goldblum) invade his apartment, rape his daughter, and kill his wife. Bronson's killing spree lasted through several sequels and spawned countless on-screen imitators.
