8. Smokey smites Mr. Eko.

It was a shame that Lost and actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje had to part ways after just one tension-fraught season — Mr. Eko was a stirring, complex embodiment of faith, redemption, and, ultimately, pride. His brutal death felt rushed, but it did give The Island's smoke monster a moment to shine darkly and even show a new side to its big bad self: Seems Smokey can take human form, too.
