9. BROTHERHOOD (SHOWTIME)
On ''the Hill'' an Irish-run neighborhood in Providence brothers act like enemies, gangsters promote family values, and cops resort to thuggery. In the drama's twisty second season, tarnished politician Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) peddles evildoing as pragmatism; his ailing hooligan brother Michael (Jason Isaacs) flirts with legitimacy in the shape of a suburban home and family. Neither tale has a happy ending. The Hill isn't a place you'd want to live, but it's definitely worth a visit.
