5. VIVA LAUGHLIN (CBS)
This attempt at originality — a musical casino drama in which stars like Hugh Jackman and Melanie Griffith break into song — was a complete miscalculation. Like dropping acid in a karaoke bar in the back of a Denny's, it was more scary and annoying than fun.
