THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (1960)
Jack Nicholson made an early impression in a small but maniacally memorable role as Wilbur Force, a masochistic dental patient. The horror film marked one of Nicholson's earliest collaborations with drive-in movie auteur Roger Corman, who would keep Nicholson busy in low-budget fright fests and biker pics throughout the 1960s.
