It takes a special kind of father to handle his daughter's pregnancy with the kind of good-natured pragmatism on display from Simmons' Mac MacGuff. The fact that this is the same Simmons who terrified us on HBO's Oz and tickled us in the Spider-Man flicks is a testament to his transformational prowess.
