4 LITTLE GIRLS (1997)
Spike Lee turned documentarian for this exploration of the 1963 bombing of a Black church in Birmingham, Alabama. He posits that the death of a quartet of girls is what, ultimately, galvanized the Civil Rights movement — and he marshals enough testimony to make anyone see the light.
