In several sketches, Ferrell captured the Inside the Actor's Studio host's blend of sophistication and sucking up, though his caricature — constantly fawning over famous guests like ''Drew Barrymore'' (as played by Kate Hudson, above) — was even more extravagantly obsequious than the real thing. On the other hand, Ferrell's Alex Trebek was witheringly dismissive of the dim-witted contestants on SNL's version of Celebrity Jeopardy.
