2004: TV ON THE RADIO

Original TV On the Radio members Tunde Adebimpe and David Andrew Sitek met in 2001 and self-released their first EP, OK, Calculator, in '02. Kyp Malone joined the band soon thereafter, and the trio produced the Young Liars EP in '03, which was released by Touch and Go as was their full-length debut, Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes. The album dropped right before their much-hyped show at SXSW in '04. Those who missed the show caught on after they released their major label debut, Return to Cookie Mountain on Interscope in September '06.
