Singing his ghetto version of Mister Roger's theme song — ''It's one hell of a day in the neighborhood, one hell of a day for a neighbor'' — Eddie Murphy lampooned the genial host as ''Mister Robinson,'' right down to walking into his abode (a dirty apartment) and changing into a cardigan (a dirty, yellow one, no less). Instead of valuable vocabulary and lessons, ''Mister Robinson'' taught his viewers about words like ''scumbucket'' and flipped off the camera with finger puppets.
