Heston teamed up with DeMille a few years later to play Moses in this lavish re-telling of the Exodus story. It turned out to be a career-defining role for the 32-year-old actor. Heston must've been pretty busy on the set: He also provided the voice of God in the ''burning bush'' scene, and his then-infant son Fraser can be seen as the baby Moses.
