First Comic: Star Spangled War Stories
The very first comic I remember reading (I'm sure I'd read others before this but don't recall them) was a coverless copy of Star Spangled War Stories, featuring ''The War That Time Forgot.'' The primitive images of GIs fighting dinosaurs branded itself on my young imagination.
