First Comic: Action Comics #219
The first comic book I ever owned was an Australian reprint of Action Comics #219. My grandfather bought it for me from Woolworths when I was seven years old and I was hooked for life. I'm guessing it was drawn by Wayne Boring and written by someone like Edmond Hamilton. Whoever was responsible, the prospect of having super-powers and a treasure horde proved irresistible to me!
