Yes, Paul Thomas Anderson's decades-spanning tale of oil, religion, fatherhood, and milkshake consumption is a truly epic work. And, sure, it features a deservedly Oscar-winning turn from Daniel Day Lewis. But we would also like to point out that, thanks to the movie's unforgettable climax, it also deserves a place alongside The Big Lebowski in the slim-but-important category of Great Bowling Alley Movies.
