THE FUGITIVE (1993)
The mystery of who really killed Dr. Richard Kimble's wife was solved in 1967, after four seasons, with 72 percent of TV viewers watching. Movie director Andrew Davis retells the classic cat-and-mouse story with the first and only meeting of his two leading men (Harrison Ford as Kimble and Tommy Lee Jones as the lawman Gerard) and, even more notably, with respect for his audience's intelligence.
