Made in America marked Smith's first foray into film acting, and the young actor managed to hold his own alongside then Hollywood heavyweights Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson. Though his role in the film was minor, Will proved that his comedic flare could translate from Bel-Air to the big screen.
