''We used all vintage clothing and fabrics,'' says the costumer, who looked for natural silks, chiffons, and cottons when she outfitted Susan (Molly Parker, pictured with Jack Davenport). ''She's kind of the earth mother of the show — she's very grounded,'' Ohanneson adds. ''Her clothes are softer and more sensual, and her prints are typically florals.''
