MAX PAYNE

Based on the Rockstar videogame series, this crime thriller from
director Moore (Behind Enemy Lines) stars Wahlberg as the titular DEA
agent, seeking revenge for the murder of his family. Wahlberg compares
Payne to Dirty Harry, with one distinction. ''Payne doesn't mind raising
his voice,'' he says. He doesn't seem to mind much else, either. This guy
just will not stop,'' Moore says. ''It's not Medium Payne or Minimum Payne,
it's Max Payne.'' (Hits theaters Oct. 17, 2008)
