In this update of the 1951 classic, an alien ambassador (Reeves) arrives
on Earth warning of an invasion, and befriends a single mother
(Connelly). Oh, and that robot sidekick is in it, too. ''I hear rumors
saying, 'There's no Gort,''' says Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily
Rose). ''Of course we have Gort!'' (Hits theaters Dec. 12, 2008)
At Comic-Con: Derrickson, Reeves, and Connelly will screen footage from
the film.
