This new one-hour Fox drama revolves around an illegal organization
(Dollhouse) that rents out blank-slate humans who ''can be imprinted with
any personality and history in order to do any kind of job,'' says Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The hitch is that Echo (Dushku) is becoming
self-aware. She realizes ''that she might be somebody,'' Whedon says. ''And
it might not be okay for her to know that.'' (Airs January 2009)
At Comic-Con: Whedon, Dushku, and Penikett will show a teaser reel.
