Everyone can probably pinpoint at least one jaded, man-eating, chain-smoking elementary school teacher that scarred them for life. Edna is that woman and so much more. But despite all the men in her life, including Principal Skinner, she was the one to teach us not to worry about falling in love, because many of us will just marry out of fear of dying alone.
