STUDY HALL Lenore, who's been singing since the age of 4, says she's been studying this season's contestants and judges' remarks and plans to keep things simple: ''I don't need fancy fireworks or dancers,'' she says. ''I just want to keep my stage more intimate, and hopefully the judges will appreciate that.'' Who does she appreciate? ''I'm obsessed with LeAnn Rimes and Joss Stone. They both started off young. Joss Stone has that Motown blues voice, and LeAnn Rimes has that country voice, and I want to try to mix them together in one voice. The Motown-country genre.'' —Mandi Bierly
