ETHEL AND FRED MERTZ
I Love Lucy (1951-1957)
The Mertzes are technically Lucy and Ricky's landlords, but Ethel (Vivian Vance) and Fred (William Frawley) seem to spend much more time in the Ricardos' apartment. They even accompany their younger tenants on vacation trips to Hollywood and Europe, and Ethel inevitably gets dragged into all of Lucy's harebrained schemes.
