I refuse to read any book designated an ''Oprah book.'' Every time she recommends a new novel, millions of housewives everywhere apparently lose the ability to find a book to read on their own. And though I am not a housewife, I refuse to be blinded by that blindingly inane Oprah pick sticker. —collins
