ROSEANNE BARR ON ROSEANNE
''I'm very proud of it. It's more relevant now than it was then. I'm very proud of its timelessness and, you know, the fact that it has a political edge that is even more relevant now than it was then. I'm proud of the fact that it's never gone off the air for 20 years. My stand-up comedy that it's based on was groundbreaking. I'm that kind of a person. I'm not going to do anything by the book or the way anybody else does it. I set out to talk about America's working women, and yeah, I guess that's groundbreaking.''
