Listen to the car radios in GTA IV the right-wing talk-radio station; the spoof commercials for blood-splattered crime-time TV and gluttony-selling restaurant chains and the subversive genius of this much-praised, greatly feared game reveals itself. Hell, yes, it deserves its Mature label because of its fierce poke at the pop culture to which it belongs; because of Niko Bellic, its complex protagonist; and because of the way it sends you out into the real world buzzy with hyperawareness.
