In the second-season premiere of A&E drama The Cleaner on June 23, Whoopi Goldberg will play an old recovery sponsor of interventionist William Banks (Benjamin Bratt). ''There's an inherent friction there because we split ways when I started having my own ideas about addiction recovery,'' says Bratt of Goldberg's character.
