He may not have been right for our Carrie Bradshaw as dashing artist Aleksandr Petrovsky, but you can certainly understand the attraction. Brimming with intelligence and sophistication, Baryshnikov — best known as the finest male dancer of his generation, if not the 20th century — wooed Carrie, and us, with his lushly Baltic accent, smoldering stare, and he's-still-got-it-after-all-these-years buns.
