KARINA SMIRNOFF
Week 1: Cha cha cha
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Oh my!
RANDALL CHRISTENSEN: The black sheer was so sexy it almost did not make it on the air! Ten, 15 minutes before show time, I get the producer running to find me, saying that Standards and Practices thought that Karina's black dress was pushing it. I had to explain to them that nothing was going to move.
I remember Edyta wearing a similar sheer black outfit in season 3 — was it a problem back then too?
No! That's the strange thing. That's why it kind of puzzled me. Karina was completely covered up from the turtleneck down.
