The most glaring omission here is Christopher Nolan.... The Academy recognizes Inception as one of the year's best films, but doesn't feel the director deserved a nomination??? Nolan is one of the best, if not the best, directors working today. I can't wait to see what he does with the next Batman but I'm more excited about seeing some more of his and his brothers' original stories come to the big screen. —Christopher Hickey
Audiences like Nolan. Critics like Nolan. The Academy does not. Ah well, I can't see him caring. He wants to get on with making movies. —Mike
