It was the fall heard 'round the pop-culture universe. Back in the days before TV spoilers were an Internet inevitability, NBC's L.A. Law gave a wicked (and wickedly wonderful) jolt to audiences when hard-charging Rosalind Shays (Diana Muldaur) stepped onto the elevator at McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney, and Kuzak, quickly found the shaft was empty, and plunged to a grizzly-comic death.MS
