The Lady of the House
Maggie Gyllenhaal plays the Secret Service boss who interviews Cale for a job — and also has a confidential connection to his past. Like the rest of the cast, Gyllenhaal didn't shoot a single scene on location in Washington, D.C. Instead, production designer Kirk M. Petruccelli made scale re-creations of approximately 65 percent of the White House — including the entryway and pool garden — on Montreal soundstages. —Adam Markovitz
