The premise struck Tatum as almost too good to be new. ''It seems like an obvious thing to do, having somebody take over the White House,'' he says. ''I was researching it online: Has there ever been a movie about this? And then when I realized there hadn't, I was like, 'Dammit, why didn't I think of it?!'
''I've always been looking to do a movie like this to jump out of windows and stuff,'' continues Tatum, seen here as the White House gets an unexpected makeover. ''It's what I grew up on. It's what I want to do before I get too old and my body can't take it anymore. I think I've got, like, three more good years of hard action in me.'' Adam Markovitz
