A Bad Apple
In its first season, ABC's hit fairy-tale series has killed off a fan favorite and dropped more than a few bombshells (wait, Red Riding Hood is also the Big Bad Wolf?). So it should come as no surprise that the finale (airing May 13) promises to be a ''throw-things-at-the-TV kind of hour of television'' at least according to star Ginnifer Goodwin (left). The actress, who pulls double duty as butt-kicking Snow White and her mild-mannered schoolteacher alter ego Mary Margaret, revealed that before the end, things between Snow and the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla, right) will come to a head when the queen offers her a poisoned apple. Though it's a nod to the iconic fairy-tale scene, it will hardly play out predictably. ''Our situation is quite more complicated,'' says Goodwin, who also hints that she's ''selfishly pleased'' because the last few episodes focus heavily on the relationship between Snow and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and their Storybrooke, Maine, counterparts. We have a feeling the queen will not be pleased. Nuzhat Naoreen
