For me, Comic-Con doesn't really start until Thursday afternoon...mostly because I can't get to San Diego any earlier. A scan of the program reveals that this year's Comic-Con is heavy on anniversary nostalgia and tributes. First up: This tribute to the trailblazing author of The Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451, who passed away on June 5 at the age of 91. Another extraordinary novelist, Margaret Atwood, will be on the panel. Which itself is reason enough to go.
