Long before he became TV's Father Murphy, Olsen was recruited for The Undefeated (1969) because the filmmakers needed someone to make John Wayne look small. The gentle-looking giant Olsen was 6'5'', 270 pounds played Little George, a blacksmith, but he and Wayne spent most of their down time on the set playing chess.
